Donations
The following message was sent out to members. Cheques should be made payable to Glen Pullen (there was a decision not set up a bank account for the group until we see how long its existence is required).

Dear Friend,
You will see from the attached minutes etc. that at our “activist” meeting last week it was decided to ask our supporters to make a donation to a fund that will cover the expenses of running Flitwick At The Crossroads. There are things that we need to pay for such as hiring a meeting place, telephone calls, printing minutes, promotional literature etc. for members. Using the Community Room at the Old School costs us around £12 50p for an evening and sending out information to members without e-mail about £6 00p a hundred. We are investigating having a flyer printed to be delivered to every house in Flitwick to tell the residents how Flitwick At The Crossroads is campaigning to protect us from the excesses of the developers, TESCO and the local Councils.
The Group decided against a membership fee and to leave it up to members to decide how much they should contribute. We will spend the donations with care and full accounts will be presented at our meetings.
